The new injection moulded polypropylene speaker cabinet range from L2 Audio offers a speaker enclosure to suit most applications, whether for live sound front of house or foldback , for DJ's, or to install, the IM range will deliver what's required.
Available in both powered and unpowered versions, you will not find a product of equal specification at these prices.
The IMP powered range have Bi amped power modules which means there are 2 amplifiers in each enclosure, 1 for the LF and 1 for the HF (except IMP8). They are also equipped with A.A.C.S.(automatic amplitude clip system) technology, which is a built in protection circuitry that engages if there is too much input signal, protecting the internal components from being over driven.
Excellently balanced enclosures, the IM/IMP have comfortably ergonomic handles, for ease of carrying and are loaded with aluminium speaker chassis to keep them lightweight .
All models (except IM/IMP8) come with standard 35mm top hat housing for speaker stands, with a screw adaption for extra rigidity. The IM/IMP8 speakers come with heavy duty wall brackets for installation
IM8H Passive moulded speaker enclosure - £57.50
When we first looked at adding an 8" installation speaker into our range, we did a lot of research and tested many products that were already available. We quickly realised that our 8" install box had to have style, look and sound great and offer unrivalled value for money. Even though we say it ourselves, the L2 Audio designers once again have ticked all the boxes..and some! If you close your eyes, you would not believe that you are listening to an 8" speaker, the bass response is phenomenal! This is due to the 100w RMS woofer that's been chosen and coupled with the 1" HF dome tweeter, the 2 way combination delivers a frequency response of 60Hz to 18KHz. Complete with wall bracket, which can be fixed horizontally or vertically, the IM8 weighs in at only 6KG's. Inputs are via parallel 1/4" jack.

IM10H Passive moulded speaker enclosure - £110.00
Why choose a 10" speaker? We get asked that question an awful lot as most performer's traditionally choose a 12" or 15" speaker enclosure. Of course it depends on the application but a good quality 10" driver with a 1" compression driver will be fantastic for crystal clear vocals and take up less space to transport. Loaded with Aluminium drivers and titanium compression driver diaphragms the IMP10 is one of our best sellers. We held a test recently involving 3 acoustic guitar playing singer songwriters. We compared the IMP10 with 2 well known similar 10" powered moulded speaker enclosures costing twice as much. Guess what happened? Well if we thought that the IMP10 didn't sound as good we wouldn't have mentioned it! We needn't had worried, 2 out of the 3 performers said that the IMP10 was on a par with the other brands and the 3 rd chose it above the others for the extra vocal warmth in the mid range.
Also the IM10's can be used just for the mid/top range of a 2 box system utilising an external cross over.
Combined with a pair of L2 Audio TS115 subs, for the low range, this would be an excellent value for money 1400w system.

The L2 audio IM12H , delivers a fantastic full range sound largely due to the custom 12" woofer and quality 1.4" titanium compression driver diaphragm. The IM12 can be used in a stand alone full range application or for mid/top range as part of a 2 box rig utilising an external cross over. Combined with a pair of L2 Audio TS115 subs for the low range, this would be an excellent value for money 1600w system. These excellently balanced enclosures have comfortable ergonomic handles for ease of carrying and are loaded with aluminium chassis speakers to keep them lightweight.
