April 2008 - New Equipment on its way

With the summer just around the corner, we are now activly planning for the summer outdoor event season. As part of our continuous improvement program, we are soon to take delivery of a db fifty line plus series PA system. The fifty line series PA gives us the ability to offer our clients a greater range of options when planning outdoor events, this means that we can now work with larger audiences at very short notice as we will have suitable equipment in stock for immediate dispatch.

November 2007 - That something different for Christmas

Yes its that time of year again and for anyone looking for something different for a Christmas stocking filler we may just have the answer. Anyone above a certain age will remember the Stylophone, Yes that's right the one with Rolf Harris in the advert.

Well we have managed to get hold of a brand new consignment of these retro toys and it looks like they are going to be a popular Christmas gift. to reserve yours give us a call.

October 2007 - Book early

As we mentioned last month we are now into the busy season and all our equipment is getting booked out, if you need any equipment over the next couple of months book now to avoid disappointment.

EES Showhire will also be supporting many local Firework shows this year by supplying PA's for the displays at Retford Football Club, Blyth Cricket Club and Thorn Recreation Ground.

One new addition we have for the upcoming festivities is a Karaoke system available for hire, so why not give us a call to book a unit now for your party

September 2007 - New event contracts

As we move into the busy part of the season EES Showhire have managed to acquire some new event contracts including the popular Victorian Christmas market in Matlock and the now well established Christmas at Clumber park.

June 2007 - Hire Stock now extended

We have now added a new range to our hire stock, that is the outdoor and marquee range of products this range is designed for use in areas where the electrical conditions are often less than perfect. for more information on our range look in the hire section of the web site or call our showroom.

May 2007 - New Showroom now open

For the last few weeks we have been busy developing the new showroom in the unit. We now have the ability to show people the equipment they may want to purchase or hire and also to see the range of accessories that can complement our extensive range of products.

The showroom also gives us the chance to expand our range of products and we are now starting to stock a wide range of musical products from amplifiers to plectrums.

April 2007 - All Change at EES Showhire

Anyone who was used to phoning Showhire and speaking to Ian may have noticed that there are now different people answering the phone.

The business has now changed hands, the new owners are Carol and Andy White who collectively have over 20 years experience in the entertainment industry.

Carol has spent many years working as an events coordinator for companies ranging from the local council to the National Trust, and has been responsible for some of the largest open air concerts held in the east midlands.

Andy has covered many of the disciplines required to work in the events industry from sound and lighting installations to stage management, he has for the last 8 years been the stage manager for the Clumber Park Open air concerts working with some of the biggest names in the industry today.

It is our intention to continue offering the same type of services that people have come to expect from Showhire, but also to look at new and innovative ways to offer our customers that something special.
