May 2010 - New Partnership
We are very proud to announce that we have now been appointed as a Bose Pro Partner.
Our association with Bose will allow us to provide our clients access to some of the finest sound systems available in the UK today, including the stunning L1 Series of Live Music systems.
we will be posting more information on the range of Bose products on our site shortly so please check back later for more information.
March 2010 - Further extending our hire range
As part of our continual improvement to our hire stock, we are currently in the final stages of setting up a new range of 2 way radios (Walkie Talkies).
The radios and accessories will be available from April this year and will consist of the Radios (Motorola), Fast Charges and Headsets.
Hire rates will be from £4.00 for the day and £8.00 for the week per radio.
Our customers will be able to use the radios anywhere in the UK and be covered by our UK General License, for more information call us to discuss your needs.
December 2009 - New range of audio equipment now available
EES Showhire have recently started working along side a new sound equipment manufacturer, L2 Audio is a new range of high quality sound equipment at very affordable prices.
with a range of passive and active injection moulded loudspeakers these units will impress you not only with the sonic quality but also that these products are so affordable but deliver the kind of results that you would expect from a unit of double its price.

November 2009 - Were Back
EES Showhire are please to announce that after a break of 2 years we will once again be involved in a series of open air concerts at the National Trusts Clumber Park. We are currently working along side our partner companies to put together the line up for the events that will be held on August 20th and 21st. Please check back here regularly to find out about the artist line up and details of the 2 events.
October 2009 - Carlton Towers Spooktacular
This year saw the first of what we hope will become a regular event at the stunning location of CARLTON TOWERS. Working along side our colleagues at FUSE FIREWORKS, we jointly designed a spectacular sound, lighting and firework display that left the crowd cheering for more. Using over 25,000 watts of lighting and 5,200 watts of PA we were able to produce an amazing show that was accurately coreographed to music and fireworks. The show lasting approximatly 17 minutes saw some of the most beautiful fireworks seen in Yorkshire this season. We are already working with FUSE FIREWORKS on next years show and rest assured that if you saw this years, next year will leave you breathless. September 2009 - NOEA
As part of our continued commitment to our customers, EES Showhire has now become a member of the National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA). The NOEA, was established in 1979, and is the only trade association specialising in the Outdoor Events Industry and is able to connect you to some 500 Members covering Local Authorities, Festival and Event Organisers, Universities/Students, Entertainment Agencies, Promoters, Venues and Suppliers of Equipment and Services together with Practitioners generally in the World of Outdoor Events.
The NOEAs policy is to educate, share problems and enhance professionalism and business opportunities. The regional workshops/ conferences and Annual Convention & Tribute Celebration Evenings offer opportunities to find out about the latest developments - to learn about topical issues such as the Licensing Act, Disability Discrimination Act, Security Industry Authority etc, Training Event Managers, working on the British Standard for the Sustainability of Event Management, Business Visits & Events Partnership, The Genesis Initiative, The Event Industry Forum, International Festivals & Events Association Europe, to debate issues, share information, network, and meet new business contacts.
July 2009 - Sheffield City Opera
Working once again with The National Trust, we have started on a program of outdoor events, our first of the season is with the Sheffield City Opera at Clumber Park and Music for a Summer Evening.
In addition to this we will be working with the Trust up to October culminating with a spooky Halloween walk around the grounds. more information on this later.

January 2009 - New Year, New Challange
As the new year gets under way, EES Showhire are happy to be involved with a new and worthwhile event hopefully happening later this year.
Lets Rock Cancer is an amazing new outdoor festival being planned for July 4th at Glanford Park stadium, Plans are being put together now for the event and we are proud to be part of that process.

Early december saw us working once again with the National Trust. This time to help illuminate the grounds and Architechture at Clumber Park.
Using a range of outdoor flood lights and various coloured gels we were able to illuminate large areas of the pleasure grounds and create a subtle and warm effect.
As summer draws to a close, we are getting ready for our busy winter season. Halloween, Fireworks and Christmas will be a busy period for us so if you want that equipment for your party give us a call now to ensure you get the date you want.
With the summer just around the corner, we are now activly planning for the summer outdoor event season. As part of our continuous improvement program, we are soon to take delivery of a db fifty line plus series PA system.
The fifty line series PA gives us the ability to offer our clients a greater range of options when planning outdoor events, this means that we can now work with larger audiences at very short notice as we will have suitable equipment in stock for immediate dispatch.
Yes its that time of year again and for anyone looking for something different for a Christmas stocking filler we may just have the answer. Anyone above a certain age will remember the Stylophone, Yes that's right the one with Rolf Harris in the advert.
Well we have managed to get hold of a brand new consignment of these retro toys and it looks like they are going to be a popular Christmas gift. to reserve yours give us a call.
As we mentioned last month we are now into the busy season and all our equipment is getting booked out, if you need any equipment over the next couple of months book now to avoid disappointment.
EES Showhire will also be supporting many local Firework shows this year by supplying PA's for the displays at Retford Football Club, Blyth Cricket Club and Thorn Recreation Ground.

As we move into the busy part of the season EES Showhire have managed to acquire some new event contracts including the popular Victorian Christmas market in Matlock and the now well established Christmas at Clumber park.

November 2008 - Fireworks & BBC
November has been a busy time for us, with various firework displays around the county. We were also delighted to be contacted by the BBC to supply and install special effects for the East Midlands Sports Awards evening to be held at Nottinghams Royal Centre.
We have supplied silk flame effects units outside the main entrance to create an impressive visual effect.
